FALL 2004

Traffic reached the 60,000 visitors level for monthly, with an annual page view level of 2 Million page views.

NEW CATEGORIES

December 2004 we added the regional pages. This enables buyers to browse our site within their local regions to make it easier to do face to face local transactions. We also added new pages for the wholesalers in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. This will make it much easier for many of our international visitors to find their local suppliers.

DECEMBER 26, 2004

The design end of our business, eHuggy Designs was sold. All design services to other companies have been discontinued effective that date, and all financial interest in that business ended that date. eHuggy and eHuggy Designs both were sold to give us more time to better develop our business promotion end of our operations.

JANUARY 2005

At our Meeting Of The Minds, plans were unveiled for changes to the Discount Retailers Directory (DRD). The new DRD format was outlined, and the results were a discontinuance of our advertising format. Effective Jan 7, 2005 we no longer accept paid advertising from individual businesses on the DRD. Our Add URL Free has been changed to a one time processing fee. This change in ad format was a result of choosing Google to fill our advertising spaces automatically.

JULY 2005

The new page format was launched, and we opened up the WDN to all nations, in response to the ever increasing need of U.S. business to find cheaper goods to compete in the low end market, or higher quality goods in the high end market, and more competitive pricing. As well, it is giving exposure to many fine businesses, around the world.

Also during this update, we added numerous categories where our business visitors can find low cost or free products to help them keep costs low, and enable them to funnel more money to their businesses. We added the SHARE Food Program, Wholesale Gasoline, Gas Prices in North American Cities, Free Wi-fi Locations, and another 140 free samples. The Business Courses category was launched at this time and our Business Library was updated. Luggage, Real Estate, RV, Boating and Business Blog categories were also added. Business Blogs are listed that give helpful business information, business opportunities, and wholesale product information.

SPRING 2006

We expanded the wholesale by country area of the website, adding many new countries. We began the expansion of the China Manufacturers category

WINTER 2006 / 2007

We expanded the Manufacturers in China category to include many new product line subcategories.

Spring 2007

We began changing font size of our listing to a much larger size to better accommodate they many new screen resolution sizes our visitors were using.

Winter 2007 / 2008

We partially changed the template. Add some new features to help visitors find related categories to expand their search. We also brought back our popular Sponsor A Category advertising option, with a brand new ad slot at the top of the page. More pages were added as be cleared the backlog of businesses requesting to be added free of charge.

Winter 2008 / 2009

Wholesale Distributors Net got a face lift, with a modified version of the old template. We began moving advertisers and those who had requested a free addition to the directory into the Company Profile pages. This gives each company listed the opportunity to show what their web site offers, even if the site is down for maintenance or is suffering from a short term failure of their server. With phone numbers and email addresses listed, potential new customers can contact the company directly to get an update on the product lines and find out why the site is down.

Winter 2009 / 2010

We have changed some of the page components, making it easier for visitors to isolate specific product lines. One such category was Home Furnishings. There, flooring is on one page, home lighting is on another, furniture on it's own page then two pages of home decor. These changes are being made to most larger categories.
