The terms of service govern all sites within the eHuggy Network, and shall all come under the site name of eHuggy sites for the purpose of terms of service. Use of eHuggy sites is for business purposes only and is not for private use or for use by minor children. It is the parents' responsibility to supervise their children, and their internet usage. eHuggy sites will not be held responsible for the parents's failure to properly supervise their children.
It is the policy on all of our network sites, that all visitors first read the terms of our site. We feel it is prudent for all internet users to visit the terms of service page immediately upon arriving at a site, to familiarize themselves with the policy of the site. At that time if the terms of the site usage are not agreeable, the visitors should immediately leave. It is the visitors responsibility to surf the web responsibly and to adhere to prudent internet user practices. With that in mind, it is the visitor's responsibility to read the terms or service, and to check the terms of service upon each new arrival, to check for updates. We do not notify visitors or advertisers of updates to our terms of service. The responsibility for reading and understanding the terms of services, on a continuing basis, is solely up to the visitor or advertiser.
eHuggy sites are read only, internet only run businesses, and provide no public tech support, or public access to the company, personnel, records, or materials.
eHuggy sites make no promise express or implied that access to the site(s) will be continuous or without interruption, and in fact the site and content may not be available for reasons beyond or within our control, such as hosting service down time, internet connection interruption, power failures, acts of terror, and/or acts of God, or business viability. Those failures will not affect the advertising agreement, which is sold flat rate, and shall not result in a refund, or compensation of any kind.
All services rendered by eHuggy sites are available first come first served, and at our discretion. We reserve and exercise the right to refuse services to companies or countries we feel are objectionable, non-compliant with our terms and/or guidelines, are in violation of our partner's terms, or have a history of problems, such as but not limited to FTC complaints, bad BBB records, bad publicity, linking to bad neighborhoods, or as defined and interpreted by us. This list of companies or countries we will not provide service to may and does change daily, and without notice.
eHuggy sites list businesses free or otherwise paid through monetary exchange or barter in good faith that the business is conducted in compliance with our terms and acceptable business practices, but we make no guarantee that any business practices good and legal business services concerning their services and/or goods. It is up to the buyer to use good judgement and just prudence in selecting and maintaining trading partners. To that end, we give no advice as to whether a business is good to deal with, or not, and by listing them in our directories, we take no responsibility for their acts.
eHuggy sites provide paid advertising options as part of the wide range of services offered, on an 'unlimited' basis. Unlimited is defined as any number of visitors from zero to infinite in any given billing periods, and as such the conditions of service are met once the ad(s) are place on the website and published to the web. It is expected that website with ads on our website will keep their website live, according to industry standards. Sites may be down during non-peak hours for maintenance. However, if a website is to be off line for more than a few hours, and the advertiser has banner ads on website, they must notify that the site will be down for an extended period of time. Any site down for 72 hours or more, will have their advertising suspended, whether we are notified in advance or not. Any website down for one week or more will be canceled, and will not be renewed. This is a sign of instability, and we will not refer out visitors to a website that can not be kept live on an ongoing basis. There are no refunds for partially used ad periods. See our ad cancellation policy below. The ads are provided on a subscription basis, and are billed in accordance with the subscription and payment method chosen, on a secure server. eHuggy sites have no access to credit card information. In order to cancel paid services the subscriber cancel their subscription -click here to cancel the subscription and must notify us by email.
All banner ads placed on eHuggy sites are be to be used for the business that approval was requested for, and approval was given for. Banners may be changed by the advertiser within the approved business, but changes must be approved, in advance, by us, before banner changes going live. You must place the banner on one of your pages, and send us the url for that page to preview the banner. Any banner that does not meet our standards or terms, as decide by us must be removed immediately upon email notification. Should the banner not be removed within 72 hours of notice, all banners will be removed from the WDN site until the business has complied and no extension of subscription period will be given to compensate for any time period lost due to non-compliance of terms. Any business that changes the content of their landing page, or any other page within their site, including adding content that is in violation of our terms, or our partner's terms, and that change no longer complies with our standards, guidelines, or terms, will have their ads canceled immediately, without warning, and the ads will not be replaced until the entire site is within compliance, and reapproved. No refund for loss of ad impression, clicks, or resulting loss of traffic or sales will be given nor extension of subscription period. Any advertiser who dishonors, or attempts to dishonor an eHuggy website through communication either written or verbal, to any of our partners, including those who provide merchant services to an eHuggy website, which may include false claims for erroneous charge backs, will be canceled immediately for defamation of character, and no refund will be given. Compliance is the sole responsibility of the business owner. We will not tolerate spamming our site with unauthorized advertising's, or with landing page or site content changes that bait and switch our visitors or, that do not reflect the originally approved content topic or that attempt to defraud us with erroneous charge backs..
Should you disagree with the way your advertising account is handled, you may cancel at any time, and per our cancellation policy, see below, you will receive no refund for the unused portion of your subscription period,since this is flat rate advertising. If you do so, and decide to attempt any compensation whatsoever, inspite of our no refund policy you agreed to, you agree to have the dispute resolved through a mutually agreed upon, third party, internet savvy, arbitrator, and that the arbitration take place through electronic communication only, with no physical appearance to take place. Any cost incurred for the arbitration process such as the cost of paying the arbitrator shall be limited to a maximum of $150, and shall initially be born by the complainant, and ultimately paid by the party found at fault. There shall be no compensation for damages, other than the actual cost of the advertising, with no damages awarded for loss of page views, loss of clicks, loss of sales, failure of business, emotional distress, initiative damages, compensatory damages, or any other costs outside the actual cost of advertising paid. This policy is to limit frivolous law suits, that would ultimately inflate our operating costs, and hurt all our advertisers as a whole.
eHuggy sites reserve the right, and do exercise the right to modify listings to make them compliant to our terms, general publishing practices, or to increase the exposure of the ad and drive more traffic to the business linked to the listing. Any free listing may be pulled at any time by contacting the webmaster- click here to be removed.
eHuggy sites value the privacy of our subscribers, paid or free, and do not rent, lease, barter, trade, sell, or give away any information to any individual or company for any reason, with the exception of law enforcement agency's requests as part of a criminal investigation.
eHuggy sites gather information via sites stats, that comes in a generic form, without user name or exact physical location for the purpose of marketing research only. That information is displayed in generic form, as a method of site promotion, and may include the number of non-specific visitors to the site, how they arrived at the site, what keywords they may have used to find the site, how often they visit the site, where they go on the site, how long they stay on pages and on the site as a whole, and the day and time of the visit. Paid Ad Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your ad, please keep in mind the ad will be pulled from our site the day you cancel it, as this is a flat rate service. To get the most for your advertising buck, you should cancel the day before your payment is due, or the last day of your advertising month.. As a flat rate advertising term, this is a non-refundable ad listing.
By surfing the pages of this site, and/or placing an ad on eHuggy sites you agree you have read the terms, and agree to abide by the terms. In our ongoing effort to reduce internet email congestion and spam, we reserve the right to change these terms without advance notice, or notice after update of the terms.
